Pixel Siege — claim your ground on a 100,000-block grid

A grid of 100,000 squares. An empty one costs 1 Gold Coin. Every time a square changes hands it gets a coin dearer — so the ground people actually fight over is the ground nobody can afford.

A real slice of the 100,000-block grid — every coloured square belongs to someone who paid for it.

How it works

Three rules, and none of them are complicated

There is no levelling, no crafting, and nothing to learn. There is a grid, and there is the question of who owns what.

  1. 01

    Find an empty square

The board is 100,000 blocks, 400 across and 250 down. Drag to pan. Empty squares are outlined in dashes.

  2. 02

    Claim it for 1 coin

One Gold Coin and the square is yours. It turns gold on your screen and everyone else sees it flip to your colour in real time.

  3. 03

Anyone can take it off you

There is no defending a square and no refund when you lose one. The only thing protecting it is what the next person has to pay — and that number only goes up.

Every square gets dearer each time it changes hands

An untouched square costs one coin. Take it from someone and you pay two. The next person pays three, then four, and so on with no reset. A square's price is its history — expensive ground is ground people have been fighting over.

  1. 1empty
  2. 2take 1
  3. 3take 2
  4. 4take 3
  5. 5take 4
  6. 6take 5
  7. and up…

Which means the cheapest thing on the board is always a square nobody has touched — and there are a lot of those.

About the coins. Gold Coins are bought with real money and spent on squares and the two games. They are not currency — they can't be cashed out, withdrawn, or sent to another player, and purchases are final.

Two ways to change your luck

Short on coins? Play for them.

Both games pay out in Gold Coins, which go straight back into taking squares off other people.

One call, one second

Coin Flip

Stake coins, call heads or tails, and watch it land. The result is decided on the server before the coin leaves your screen — the animation is just showing you what already happened.

  • Correct call pays 1.9×
  • Fair 50/50, drawn from a cryptographic source
  • Settles instantly to your balance

Hit, stand, double

Blackjack

Standard rules against a dealer who hits to 17. The deck and the hole card live on the server, so there is nothing in your browser to peek at.

  • Blackjack pays 2.5×, a win pays 2×
  • Double down on your first two cards
  • Push returns your stake

Gold Coins

Buy once, spend it however you like

One coin takes an untouched square; anything already held costs more each time it changes hands. The same coins play the coin flip and blackjack — there is no second currency and nothing expires.

Payments are handled by Polar, who are the merchant of record — they handle tax and billing, and your card details never touch this site.

Coins are not currency. They can't be cashed out, withdrawn, or transferred to another player, and purchases are final. They only buy squares and game stakes inside Pixel Siege.

Everything on the board is already someone's.

Except the parts that aren't — and those still go for 1 coin. They only ever get more expensive from here.
